Lamido Mocks Buhari For Collecting Bullet-Proof Jeeps From Dasuki, Says Heavens Will Fall If President Arrests Jonathan

A former governor of Jigawa State, Sule Lamido, has mocked President Muhammadu Buhari for collecting two bullet-proof jeeps from a former National Security Adviser, Sambo Dasuki, when his convoy was attacked by Boko Haram in the build-up to the 2015 general election.

On December 15, 2015, the Presidency denied the allegations that Mr Buhari received $300,000 in compensation from Mr Dasuki, but admitted the president collected two bullet-proof SUVs from the embattled NSA.

But Mr Lamido made the allusion and threw the challenge on his Facebook page on Tuesday, suggesting the administration lacks the courage arrest Mr Jonathan despite the fact that most of those standing trial for corruption are linked to the former president.

“Pray, where did Dasuki get 2.5 billion dollars he distributed to military service chiefs, statesmen, former governors, prayer fees, bullet-proof jeeps, etc for which he has been in SSS detention?

“Also from where did Nanadi get the billions of naira she distributed to states as election money for which she is now standing trial along with many former governors, ministers, party men, etc etc?

“I understand that ALL these monies came the Central Bank under the watch of the incumbent Governor Emefeile on the ORDER of the former President Goodluck!

“Going by the recent landmark ruling of Justice Binta Nyako that subordinates acting on the ORDERS of their SUPERIOR (correct me if I’m wrong) cannot be held responsible!

“Does the Government lack the nerve to arrest the former President? Dare it and your heavens will fall,” Mr Lamido threw the challenge.
