Buhari In Closed-Door Meeting With Saraki, Dogara

Amidst controversies surrounding the ruling APC congresses nationwide and delay in budget budget passage by the legislature, President Muhammadu Buhari has summoned the two leaders of the National Assembly to a meeting.
The Senate and the House of Representatives had penultimate week resolved to invite the president over unauthorised withdrawal from Excess Crude Account for arms expenditure.
Sources at the Presidential Villa indicate that Mr Buhari is currently meeting behind closed doors with the President of the Senate, Bukola Saraki and the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
Details of the meeting are still sketchy but inside sources said it might not be unconnected with the invitation extended to the president by the Senate and House of Representatives; delay in budget passage and; party congresses.
