Imo State Police Command on Thursday paraded a fake lawyer, 2 prophets and 59 others over alledged kidnapping, armed robbery and child trafficking.
Parading the suspects on Thursday, the CP Chris Ezike said that in their efforts at curbing crime in the state black spots junctions, public places and commercial centers including houses have been given special and  adequate attention to ensure that security of lives and properties of the masses are assured.
Addressing newsmen at the Command in Owerri, the CP said he paraded a total of 61 persons suspected to be armed robbers, kidnappers, cultists and child traffickers, including a lawyer and two pastors.

Exhibits recovered  from those  suspected to be armed robbers, kidnappers and cultists included 1 beretta pistol, 79 pieces of cartridges belts, 45 rounds of .9mm lives ammunition, 118 rounds of K2 live ammunition, 1 long range English pistol and 2 Smith and Wilson  Pistols.
Other items were: 1 Pump Action gun, 2 Chief Revolver Pistols, 1 double barrel gun, 1 Tecrove Pistol, 2 AK47 empty magazines, 6 short Chief Revolver live ammunition, 12 unexpanded cartridges,17 long chief revolver live ammunition and 2 K2 magazines, among some other sophisticated weapons.
Those arrested and paraded included: Pastor Benjamin Ndieze, an alleged fake paator, and a prophet, from Umualum Umueze Umuapu in Ohaji/Egbema LGA of ImoState, who is also said to be the officiating pastor in charge of the Deliverance Home of Comfort Assembly, Ihiagwa, in Owerri West LGA of Imo State, who was allegedly involved in a case of false pretence by false prophecy.

His victim was one Blessing Ahamefula, female, from Ihie Orji Umuonyaogu Ngwa in Abia State, who came to his Ihiagwa Church with her little daughter, Miss Faith Ahamefula, 5 years old.
She was said to have been handed over to the pastor who in turn handed over the girl to one of his church members, Bro. Emmanuel Onuoha, and ordered him to drop the girl at Control Post, near the NNPC filling station, while the Pastor during his church prophetic hours revealed to his congregations that the alleged kidnapped and missing little girl from Aba in Abia State by her uncle would be found at the Control Post, by his power of prophecy and prayers in his church.
The Pastor confessed to his crime. Also, the Police paraded arrest a suspected fake lawyer,(Barr) Mrs. Beatrice Obiageli Nnamuoh, 35 years old, from Iyiawu village in Onitsha, Anambra State, but resident in Okporo Orlu in ImoState.
Items recovered from her as exhibits were: a lawyers gown, wig, collaret, letter headed papers and case dairies.
According to the Police, she was arrested at Orlu after defrauding members of the public the sum of N342,000 with the pretence of selling auction vehicles to them.
Beatrice, however, confessed to the crime and disclosed that she had been into the business for about 5 years.
The police said that she would be charged to court soonest.
