Okorocha Has Betrayed Me – Madumere

Following the directive from Governor Rochas Okorocha that his Deputy, Prince Eze Madumere, should run for the Senate for Owerri Zone in 2019 instead of the governorship position, the Deputy Governor has rejected the offer, saying that he feels betrayed by the Governor.
In a press release by his media aide, Mr. Uche Onwuchekwa, the Deputy Governor revealed why he rejected Okorocha’s Senate offer, noting that he has chosen his path towards realizing his “God’s given vision to better the lot of Imolites”.
The Deputy Governor added that his fate “is in no man’s hands”, even as he said that ”If Jesus Christ could be ill-treated by those he called his friends and was later betrayed by Judas, how much more a mere mortal like me.”
He recalled that he has been “molested, betrayed and insulted” by those he nurtured to “become relevant in life”.
