2019: Most Political Parties Will Support Buhari For Second Term – Okorocha

Governor Rochas Okorocha has predicted that in 2019 President Muhammadu Buhari would get the support of most of the political parties in the country for his second term, adding that he would get double the votes he got in 2015 when he was running for President, because most Nigerians have come to appreciate the necessity of his coming and what he is doing with the office.

He said that in 2019 most of the political parties would not sponsor presidential candidates, including some of the big parties, to enable them support the Buhari Presidency and to enable the President finish the good works he has begun.

The Governor made the predictions while congratulating the President on his 75th birthday which was celebrated on Sunday, December 17, 2017, saying that God used him to save Nigeria from grounding when he became President in 2015.

In a press release by his Chief Press Secretary, Mr. Sam Onwuemeodo, and obtained by 247ureports in Owerri, the Governor said he was also congratulating the  President on behalf of the people of Imo State, his family and the Rescue Mission Government.

Governor Okorocha said President Buhari is the man God used to save the Nigeria from total collapse, noting that at the time he became President the country was at the verge of being grounded.

The Governor also commended Nigerians who voted for the President in 2015, adding that the President has done well to justify the mandate given to him by Nigerians.

He also said that the reason God has kept the President alive is because he is not God of unfinished business.

He added that the second term would enable the President lay a very solid foundation for those coming after him.
