Bauchi Police Command Arrests 15 Armed Robbery, 3 Kidnappers

The Nigeria Police Force Bauchi State Command has arrested fifteen armed robbery suspects (15) and three (3) Kidnappers in Ningi, Jitar Feeder Road Bauchi, Narabi village Toro, Bayan Gari Bauchi all in Bauchi State.
Briefing newsmen yesterday in his office, the Command Public Relations Officer Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Kamal Datti said that weapon recovered from the suspects include, mobile phones, live cartridge, locally made revolver pistol, two master keys and live ammunition.
DSP Datti said, other exhibit recovered from the suspects are hard drugs such as packets of 225m tramadol capsule, locally made dane gun, cash of one hundred and sixty thousand naira (N160,000) and cutlasses.
He said, Dalhatu Gambo aged thirty five, Usaiaini Garba aged twenty seven and Auwal Garba were arrested on the 19 of October 2017 all of Halimbe village of Ningi local government council of Bauchi State for kidnapping one Samaila Haruna aged twenty years old of same address.
While, Haruna Ibrahim aged twenty, Saidu Haladu aged twenty seven were arrested for armed robbery at Jitar Feeder Road Bauchi on 30/10/ 2017.
Others arrested for armed robbery include, Usman Aliyu, aged thirty, Najib Lawal aged twenty two, Abdulraseed Mohammed aged thirty two and Mustapha Haruna aged thirty one all of Narabi village in Toro Local Government council of Bauchi State.
He said Godwin Goma was traced and arrested at Bryan Gari Baauchi along side with his gang member connection with a case of armed robbery saying the suspects robbed one Abdullahi Dauda of his Honda Accord, and Maidawa Misau of his Mercedes-Benz C350 model at Tafawa Balewa Housing Estate Bauchi somewhere in July 2016.
Others are, Nura M. Ibrahim Peter Okolo, Nafiu Abdullahi and Nasiru Dahiru of Bayaro Quarters along Jos Road were on 27/08/2017 for allegedly stabbing Mohammed Kabir on his left hand in his room and carted away with twenty nine thousand and other valuables.
According to him, the Command is determined to curb crime and criminality in Bauchi state and to ensure that people in the state sleep with their eyes closed while calling on the general public to help the Command with useful information so that they can serve the public better.
