A resident of Awka Mr. Chido Akah described the flooding of policemen as unnecessary because according him, the policemen on ground in the state were enough to tackle any problem, stressing that it was creating unnecessary tension in the state.
“They said it is because of election, is it the first time election would be conducted in the state? They it is because of IPOB, have IPOB members killed anybody, they were just talking without any weapon. They should bring Hausa/Fulani to come and kill innocent people in the state in the name of keeping peace. They take the policemen at Borno where they are needed most because of menace of Boko Haram not in Anambra, there is peace here” Akah warned.
