Kaduna State Government thought its Urban Planning Development Agency (KASUPDA) Wednesday demolished a personal house of Alhaji Inuwa Abdulkadir, the North West Zonal Vice Chairman of the All Progressive Congress, APC.
The house located at at No. 29 (formerly No 11) Yakubu Avenue was a 4-bedroom Duplex under construction few metres away from Murtala Muhammed Square and Lugard Hall in the heart of the city.
Contrary to the claims by KASUPDA that led to the demolition, documents obtained showed that the construction followed due process.
A close family member said after the demolition notice issued, the owner approached the court and the case has been on while the construction was halted since January.
It would be recalled that Abdulkadir and Governor Nasir el-rufai have been at logger head over APC crisis in Kaduna State. Especially with the setting up of a reconciliatory committee headed by Governor Aminu Bello Masari to resolve the crisis.
