His Excellency, Presidentย Muhammaduย Buhari, has approved a number of Ecological Fund Intervention Projectsย forย the 4thย Quarter of 2016. ย Theย approvedย projects which are spread across the 6 Geo-Political Zones of Nigeria are located in 11 States. The projects and their various locations are listed below.

Petrochemical Company (Phase II).

Refinery (Phase II).

Gully Erosion Control Works atย FederalGovernmentย

2.The execution of these projects will address the challenges of gully and soil erosion, incessant flooding and airย pollutionย that has ravaged the impacted communities and causedย loss of lives in certain instances. ย Whenย theseย projects are completed, the sufferings of the affected communities will be ameliorated. ย There will be increased food production which will stimulate the economy and lead to the creation of jobs.
