The Ekiti Democratic Coalition (EDC), which made this allegation in a
release issued on Saturday and signed by its Convener, Comrade
Ogunlola Olatunde, warned Senator Ojudu to stop defrauding
unsuspecting Nigerians with his failed Fayose must go agenda.

The group said it learnt on good authority that Senator Ojudu was
using his position in the presidency to raise a sum of N250 million,
claiming that the money, when available will be used to bribe members
of the Ekiti State House of Assembly to support the impeachment of
Governor Fayose.

EDC said Senator Ojudu was going about, claiming that he already had
support of 10 out of the 26 PDP members in the State House of Assembly
and that if he was able to get the N250 million, Fayose’s removal will
become fait accompli.

The group, which said President Mohammadu Buhari must be mindful of
characters like Senator Ojudu that are using the Presidency to scam
Nigerians, added that genuine lovers of Ekiti State and its people
would not consistently plot political instability in the State just
for their own selfish political and financial gains.

Just the same way he used the removal of Fayose to make millions of
naira in 2006, Ojudu is raking millions of naira now, claiming that he
is raising fund to bribe members of the Ekiti State House of Assembly.

In 2006, Ojudu got several millions of naira through donations from
prominent Ekiti indigenes and it is on record that none of the State
House of Assembly members then got more than N200, 000.

The latest of Ojudu’s Fayose must go scam is the N250 million he is
said to be raising and we are sure that he has gotten a very
substantial amount.

Nigerians, especially Ekiti APC governorship aspirants and the
Presidency are therefore warned to be mindful of Senator Ojudu and his
new scam so as not to fall victims like those from whom he got
