Former speaker of the Delta state House of Assembly, hon. Victor Ochei, has confirmed that war lords responsible for rigging and other dirty jobs in the People Democratic Party (PDP) in the Delta state, have all moved to the All Progressives Congress (APC).
The former speaker said with the like of Hon. Kenneth Ifechukwu and him, come 2019 election in the state, “There is no trick the other side will play that I will not understand because we all played the tricks.”
Speaking at the national Secretariat of APC on Tuesday, when the decampes were received by the national chairman of the party, Ochei revealed that “I also want to say that we will play the politics, and if there is something we know how to do, it is how we have tried in the past to stop our two brothers from becoming governors. I am in the same zone with them. There is no trick the other side will play that I will not understand because we all played the tricks.
“Let me also introduce you to Prince Henry Ohari, these are the PDP dangerous elements that we have to take away from them. Also we have the civilian who is from the PDP stock, original PDP. Hon. Johnbull who is also here from the PDP stock.
“Your excellency, I want to give you my word that as a strong member of the party, be rest assured that all we need is your cooperation, and give the environment to do the needful, because doing the needful is not difficult for us because we understand the terrain. Right from the very waters, far deep into the waters we have generals. I am glad Timi is here. I am glad my brother Dyep is here. These are, I don’t want to use the word war Lords but when it comes to political machinery, APC will do the needful when the time comes.
“I am glad the our leader and brother introduced himself as the Peoples general, it is not for nothing, there is a war that goes with it, when the time comes, he will play his part. If I furnish own by stating my own part, it will be over stating the needful. Be rest assured that my own part won’t collapse. Give us the enablement to perform please and be by our side.”
“Mr. Chairman, we did not come prepared with all the powers that you need to see because I believe that all politics are local but that does not mean that politicians work alone. We came here very small so that when you come to receive us officially back home, the movement we have been talking about will be worse than exit.
“Let me introduce Hon. Kenneth Ifechukwu, who was the former Delta State, chapter of the PDP. This is the man that in the south that does those things that we use to do. He is in-charge, he knows that we do.
“Your excellency, we were all in Accord party, although Accord is a child of PDP. I want to say today that I am very happy. I don’t want to make too much of boast but your excellency, when you receive us back home, you will see what we are.”
