Buhari appoints Katsina gov’s Chief of Staff SMEDAN DG

Hisย Excellency,ย Presidentย Muhammaduย Buhari, has approved the appointment of Dr.ย Dikkoย Umaruย Radda,ย as the Director-General/Chiefย Executiveย Officer of the Small and Mediumย Enterprises Development Agency of Nigeria (SMEDAN). The appointment, which takes immediate effect,ย is for a period of five years.
Dr.ย Raddaย graduated with aย Bachelorโsย Degree in AgriculturalEconomics and Extension fromย Abubakarย Tafawaย Balewaย University,ย Bauchi, in 1996. ย Heย obtainedย twoย Masterโsย Degreesย in Agricultural Extensionย and in International Affairs and Diplomacy; and alsoย hisย Ph.Agriculturalย Extension and Rural Sociology, all from theย Ahmaduย Belloย University, Zaria, between 1998 and 2015.
A formerย Teacher,ย Banker and Local Governmentย Chairman, Dr.ย Raddaย until his newย appointment,ย was theย Chief of Staff to the Governor ofย Katsinaย State.
