The Supreme Court has upheld the election of Governor Emmanuel Udom of Akwa Ibom state.

The Apex Court held that Governor Udom of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) was duly elected as governor of Akwa-Ibom state.

Also, the court said reasons for the verdict would be given on February 15.

Also, ruling on Abia governorship election, the Apex court also affirmed the election of Governor Okezie Ikpeazu of the People’s Democratic Party as the duly elected Governor of Abia state.
