APGA governorship candidate in the 2015 election, Dr. Alex Otti, who disclosed in Aba during a thanksgiving ceremony organized by the party, described the APC candidate as the best person to represent the people of Aba North state constituency since APGA was disqualified from the rerun.
It would be recalled that the APGA candidate, Emeka Nnamani, who won the election on April 11, was disqualified by the Court of Appeal, Owerri Division, over alleged certificate forgery.
Hear Otti : ” You know there will be a rerun in Aba North state constituency on March 5th. Unfortunately we won’t be presenting a candidate. You all know all the story. It is all about gimmickry and fraud. We have left everything in the hands of God. But we are not going to let them reap from where they didn’t sow. So, we have an alliance with the candidate of the APC, Uba Omenazu. I have endorsed him. All APGA supporters should vote him. He will do the right thing. Vote and for APC and defend your votes, don’t give your vote to PDP.”
Responding, the APC candidate thanked his party and APGA for the confidence they reposed in him, stressing that with the alliance of the two parties, he will emerge winner at the polls.
Otti further used the occasion to drum support for APGA candidates who are contesting the rerun polls in Abia North senatorial zone, Chief David Bourdex Onuoha , and state Assembly candidates; Enyinnaya Ubani(Osisioma Ngwa South), Theophilus Ugboaja(Ikwuano), Chijioke Nwachukwu(Umuahia South), Luke Ukaru(Arochukwu), Ikedi Ezekwesili (Umunneochi), and Levi Atulegwu(Isiala Ngwa South).
While insisting that his party, APGA, won over 20 seats in the state Assembly elections, but was rigged out, warned the PDP to allow the will of the people to prevail and desist from manipulating the elections.
