Information reaching 247ureports.com indicates that the Supreme Court of Nigeria has over-ruled the judgement of the Appeal Courts which had over turned the electoral victory of the Peoples Democratic Party [PDP] at the gubernatorial elections in Rivers State. The Appeals Court stated that the elections were fraudulent.
Today, the Supreme Court overturned the Appeal Court ruling. Governor Wike of the PDP remains the governor of Rivers State.
