Dr. Chris Eluemunoh , Anambra state Chairman of apex Igbo social –cultural group Ohanaeze Ndi Igbo said that President Mohammadu Buhari anti-corruption fight was a welcome exercise He was speaking with Journalist in Awka reently while reacting to state of the nation regarding the alleged vision of assassination by Rev. Fr. Ejike Mbaka and the anti-corruption fight of Buhari administration .
He called on Mbaka as a man of God to check his utterances to avoid clash of interest advising that even if he was shown such a vision that he should as a Mather of public interest hid it and pray fervently to cancel the vision as was done with the prophet of the old.
‘Mbaka should as a fact of unity stop the alarm trigger but as an ordained man of God pray out evil visions.
“His new year message as a man of God with such prophesy was really scaring and could trigger confusion among the official of the present administration, causation must be applied wisely” he said
Eluemunoh said that with the fight against corruption which has eaten deep into the fabrics of our people and Buhara coming to sanitize the system no right thinking person will dream of such evil.
He said that people in top government offices and politicians should be made to know that public funds were not to be used loosely and that accountability remains the watch word of any public servant.
He said that any exercise that will bring decline of corrupt practices in the system of government and operations in Nigeria is a welcome exercise any time any day.
He further said that the federal in his fight should give the exercise a human face to erase doubt of its sincerity also he urged the federal government to mediate between the difference in operation in EEDC and Geometric so as to blend the good work being done at the moment by EEDC in south east Nigeria.
Eluemunoh commended the leadership of the IPOB / MOSSOP as they have shun violence and embraced dialogue assuring that the elders are not folding their arms rather that lots of conferences are going on between the Igbo leaders and the federal government and was very optimistic that soon every biting issues would peaceful resolved.
He urged Nigerians to join hands with the present administration in building a healthy nation as unity of this great country remains nonnegotiable.
