An Abuja based Non-Governmental Organization, Credible Alternative Alliance under the joint leadership of former governor of old Kaduna State, Comrade Balarabe Musa and onetime Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Chief Samuel Olu Falae, has dispatched a letter to petition alleging several financial scandals to President Muhammadu Buhari to direct any of the relevant anti-corruption agencies to carry out a thorough probe of the Federal Ministry of Water Resources to strengthen the records.
According to the petition signed by Barrister Umar Muhammed (National Coordinator) and made available to 247ureports, the sacked permanent secretary of the ministry, one Baba Umar Farouk is at the centre of the various scams that rocked the ministry from 2013 – 2014 when he held sway.
