The Senate President, Bukola Saraki, on Tuesday exclaimed over the
widely reported missing 2016 budget.
Saraki reportedly visited the Presidential Villa, less than two hours
after Sen. Ali Ndume dropped the bombshell over the 2016 budget, which
its location remained undefined.
Though, the two presidential aides to the President on Media
intermittently denied the reports.
When pressed to clarify the information, the All Progressives Congress
(APC) chieftain exclaimed “ah, ah,” and reportedly rushed into his
car.
Information and Culture Minister, Lai Mohammed until now, also
insisted that the budget remained intact in the National Assembly.
It was gathered that that both the soft and hard copy of the budget
had gone missing.
It could be recalled that President Muhmmadu Buhari personally
submitted the 2016 budget proposal to the House December 22, 2015 for
their assent.
