The All Progressive Congress (APC) leaders are currently waging both physical and verbal war against each other over a N50 million gift given to the National Chairman of the party by the Imo state governor, Rochas Okoroch, in December.
While some of the members of the National Working Committee (NWC) of APC were not informed of the gift, it was gathered that Chief Oyegun and two of his deputies cornered the money as Christmas gift from the governor.
A source however told our reporter that the secret was let out when Oyegun led other NWC members recently to beg President Muhammadu Buhari for financial assistant to help the party carry out it activities that one of the leaders of the party confronted the national chairman about the money.
The source said other NWC members who were not in the picture were shocked at the revelation and therefore vowed to report their chairman to the president.
It would be remember that the party has been going through a difficult period since after the general election and more over that some of it governors had stop monthly contributions to the party’s pulse.
