No fewer than ten persons have been confirmed dead leaving over twenty other with various degrees of injury in Enugu auto crash which occurred along Ugwuonyeama by Enugu Onitsha Expressway.
Eye witnesses told 247ureports.com that some bodies were burnt beyond recognition and some into ashes in a multiple auto crashes that involved over four vehicles.
It was however gathered that the fatal multiple road crash which involved Four buses, a hilux van and two other cars was said to have occurred at about 7.30pm of 8/1/16.
The cause of the accident is yet to be established as the time of the report.
While confirming the accident the police public relations officer PPRO, Dsp Ebere Amaraizu said operatives of the command were on hand to control the traffic in order to avert further occurrence.
The PPRO disclosed that the injured have been taken to a nearby hospital for medical assistance while the dead bodies have deposited in nearby hospitals.
