According to sources rounds of gunfire have been heard in Ajaokuta coming from thugs and natives of the area supposedly in support of one gubernatorial aspirant over the other. Our source indicates that supporters of the late Abubakar Audu’s son – Mohd Audu took to the streets in anger after it was announced that Audu’s son would not be All Progressive Congress [APC] choice to replace the late Abubakar Audu.
