Former Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Industry, Trade and
Investments, Ambassador Abdulkadir Musa on Thursday raised alarm over
inclusion on the list of former Federal Permanent Secretaries that
will face trial for alleged corruption.
The aggrieved permanent secretary expressed concerns over reports
widely spread that he was among those who inflated contracts among
other corrupt acts.
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has been on the
watch to arrest any public offender culpable of committing fraudulent
crimes.
According to Musa, he was officially retired from the Federal Civil
Service Commission (FCSC) in a letter acknowledged by the former Head
of Civil Service of the Federation (HOCSF), Danladi Kifasi on 1st
July, 2015.
There are concerns in the Presidency of high corrupt practices and
allegation of fund diversion by some of the top retired civil
servants.

totally reduce corruption to a standstill.
In a letter with reference number HCSF/PSO/HAOD/P.23050/17 obtained

2015 on the above subject matter (Re: Notice of retirement for
Service) and to convey approval of the President of the Federal
Republic of Nigeria for your retirement from the Federal Civil Service
with effect from 18th August, 2015 in line with the provision of
extant rules governing retirement of civil servants.
“This is wishing you success in your future endeavours and hoping that
you will oblige the Service, indeed the nation, whenever there is need
to tap from your wealth of experience.”
