As the Nigerian Super Eagles tackles Shilangu of Swaziland in the second leg of the 2018 African world Cup qualifier at the Adokiye Amesiemaka Stadium, Port Harcourt, the Rivers State Government has called on football loving residents of the State to come out enmass to cheer the team to victory.

Deputy Governor of Rivers State, Dr. Ipalibo Harry Banigo said Rivers State has always provided the needed victory atmosphere to the Super Eagles in all their matches in Port Harcourt and tomorrow’s encounter would not be an exception.

In a statement by the Press Secretary to the Deputy Governor, Paul Damgbor, Dr. Banigo urged the players ensure victory at Tuesday’s encounter with the Swaziland National Team.

The Deputy Governor said although the team was held to a goalless draw by Shilangu of Swaziland in Lobamba, the Super Eagles has the capacity and potentials to be victorious and proceed to the next round of the qualification.

The statement further appealed to Rivers People to come to the stadium to cheer the Super Eagles to victory as the State Government has thrown the gates open for all football loving Nigerians to watch the match live and free.
