No Body, Party Can Shake PDP In Delta State- Osanebi

The Deputy Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Friday Osaai Osanebi penultimate Wednesday said in his office in Asaba that the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Ndokwa East Local Government Area and Delta State remains unshakable and firmly rooted in the nooks and crannies  of Delta State.


The Deputy Speaker and proud PDP card carrying member made this declaration when  the  stakeholders and leaders  of PDP in Ndokwa East Ward Nine paid him a working visit. Here him: “our party has triumphed and imparted on our people positively for the past years, because of her commitment, diligent and firm foundation in Ndokwa East and Delta State. There’s no other party in this state and you must be confident to do your home work properly; tell our people in Ward nine what our party stands for, show them what we have done and tell them what we are doing, because PDP is committed to the prosperity of all Deltans. You must work with this confident, because no body or party can shake the People Democratic Party in Delta State”


The leaders had earlier called on the Deputy Speaker  to consult him on the way forward, on the victory of the party in the forthcoming councilorship election in the ward and other political matters as it affect Ward nine and Isoko speaking people of Ndokwa East.


Speaking with confidence, the Deputy Speaker assured the leaders that the PDP family of Delta State and Ndokwa East remains unshakable and determined to empower Deltans the more. He said that PDP is built on a sure and firm foundation and remains the only political party in Ndokwa East and Delta State at large, that the people are confident with, because of the value it has added to the polity and the level of transformation it has recorded thus far.


The Deputy Speaker further said that the party has kept to her promise of empowerment and has empowered the youths and women tremendously in the last sixteen years and still counting.


Responding to the request of intervention for the conduct of councilorship election in Ward nine, the Deputy Speaker revealed that the Delta State Independent Electoral Commission (DISEC) is aware of the need of the people and the commission is working out modalities to conduct the elections as quick as possible in political wards were the elections couldn’t hold in the last local government elections held in the state.


He further charged the leaders and stakeholders to go back home and work in unity to ensure that the party record a landslide victory in the elections, stressing that PDP in Ndokwa East is  deeply rooted and can not be moved.
