It was fun filled as members of Tree of Life Gospel ministry – Women Ministry gathered in Nanka, Anambra State on August 12, 2015 to mark this year’s August meeting.
The event started with songs of praise and adoration for divine intervention on their lives and families, and the society in general. A sermon by the General Overseer of the ministry, Dr. Reverend Jerry Dada Obi admonished the women to be good wives to their husbands and good mothers to the children, and good neighbors in their communities.
The high point of the event was the presentation and breaking of kolanut, donation by guests and members.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the national president/chairperson of the Tree of Life Gospel ministry mother’s association, Deaconess Bridget Ezike spoke with 247ureports.com. The Deaconess who hails from Enugu Ezike in Enugu State and married in Amichi, Anambra disclosed that the August meeting was her eleventh [11th] year of heading the organization. She is the pioneer president. “Our task has been to upgrade the moral and spiritual well being of the society especially within the young ladies and girls to become good mothers and wives tomorrow“, she said while adding that the Tree of Life ministry was the first to start August Meeting Conference in the whole Sabbath Circle. “Other are now following suit“, she remarked.
“Our dream is to build on our success. We plan to build a convent where young guilds will be transformed positively and their moral attributes improved upon“, she added
