The reasons behind President Mohammadu Buhari’s erratic and unexplained decisions over his personal security in the manner he had distanced the agents of the State Security Service from executing their constitutional responsibilities has been made public by knowledgeable sources close to the presidency. Information made available to 247ureports.com reveals that the President of the federal republic of Nigeria, Mohammadu Buhari had been terrified by the possibility of an assassination or betrayal by his close associates.
Following the lead up to the campaign of the 2015 presidential election season, before the primary exercise of the All Progressive Congress [APC], General Mohammadu Buhari was reported by close sources to have flown in marabouts [Islamic Native Doctors] from Senegal and Mali – and had housed them at a residence in Northern Nigeria where he visits them periodically – to receive supposed messages from the gods and the spirits.

He believes and relies heavily on the spiritual revelations from the marabouts. Before embarking on the APC merger venture with Bola Tinubu, Buhari had consulted heavily with the spiritual advisers concerning the APC merger and his possibility of becoming victorious at the APC primaries and at the general polls. The marabouts were said to have prophesied to Buhari that victory was certain but that his life was under threat.
The source points back to Buhari’s brush with the suspected men of the Jihadist group, the boko haram in Northern Nigeria when his convoy was attacked by assailants who attempted to bomb his convoy. The incident occurred in July 2014 in Kaduna along Ali Akilu Road in Kawo-Kaduna at about 2:30pm on his way to Daura, Katsina State. Instead, Buhari is said to suspect the security apparatus of Nigeria to be behind what termed a clear attempt at assassinating him or at stopping his planned entrance into the presidential race of 2015.
