The ruling APC has been swimming in crisis water following the controversial emergence of Senator Bukola Saraki as Senate President and Hon. Yakubu Dogara as Speaker, House of Representative respectively, contrary to the choice of some leaders of the party.

Both Saraki and Dogara, had on June 9th 2015, defied the directive of the party by contesting the senate presidency and the speakership against the wish of APC which had prefer Senator Hammed Lawan as Senate President and Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila as Speaker.

Sources at the national Secretariat yesterday confided in journalists that the South-west APC which is still loyal to the national leader of the party, Bola Hammed Tinubu, had agreed to sacrifice hon. Lasun’s position, which the source added that Dogara led caucus had also consented to.
