Ikpleazu Has Reinvented ‘Made In Aba’ Slogan-Media Aide

Senior Special Assistant (media) to Governor Okezie Ikpeazu of Abia State, Mr. Ugochukwu Emezue has said that the governor wants to give Aba a pride of place in Nigeria in particular and Africa in general.

Emezue, in an interview  in Umuahia, said “you can see that the’ made in Aba’ slogan is reinvented by Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu”.

He continued:”This is exemplified by his own dressing. His dressing is popularising what we produce. It is to place more premium to what produce in Aba”.

Speaking further, Emezue said that the reconstruction and expansion of the roads in Aba would reduce the man hours lost in traffic jams in the city and boost economic activities.

He said that the roads will add to the aesthetic value of the city.

According to him, the roads already flagged- off will be delivered in 100 days to” let people know that the feat can be achieved”.

“As far as the governor is concerned, he will fulfill any promise he has made. This is to demonstrate that he is committed and determined; and that he wants to improve the lots of the people”.

While he appealed with the people to cooperate with the government, he said that turning into a construction site comes with its attendant sacrifices as illegal structures would be cleared to ensure the reconstruction and expansion of the roads.
