Suspected hoodlums have gunned down a staff of the Nigeria National Petroleum Corporation who attempted to withdraw money from a Zenith Bank in Warri, the business city of Delta State.
The victim, identified as Ebita Raymond, was shot in the head after robbing him of his money, even though he did not offer any resistance as at the time of the attack.
Our correspondent learnt that Ebita, an indigene of Edo State, was waylaid by the hoodlums as he was about to withdraw N400,000 from his bank account.
Ebita, who was killed at about 11am, was in his Mercedez Benz, when he was waylaid by the hoodlums and forced to release the money before releasing the bullet on his head.
Ebita was living around Jeddo area in Warri before he met his untimely death in the hands of the daredevil robbers.
