Victor Umeh bows out as APGA marshals out way forward, plans to elect new leaders

National Chairman, Chief Sir Victor Umeh OFR, will hand over to a newly elected National Chairman after
its National Working Committee (NWC) meeting today.
The National Working Committee (NWC) of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) met today β€œto address the state of the National Party, and initiate transition programmes for a new administration, as their tenure expires this month.”
β€œThe NWC meeting deliberated on the Party’s progress till date, performance at the last elections, and way forward. The NWC also submitted its recommendations to enable a smooth, effective transition and sustained party progress for future Party administrations,” an APGA statement issued in Abuja said.
It disclosed that β€œthe departing NWC’s recommendations will be handed over to the National Leader of the Party and Chairman of its Board of Trustees – His Excellency, Chief Dr. Willie Obiano, Governor of Anambra State, to enable initiate State Congresses and eventual National Convention to elect new National officers for the party, under his Leadership.”
The statement concluded by saying that the out-going β€œNational Chairman, Chief Sir Victor Umeh OFR, looks forward to a peaceful transition handing over the party reins, and pursuing his Senatorial case at the Election tribunals.”
