It has finally been revealed that one of the three men whose dead bodies are displayed on the social and some print media as product of election violence in Akwa Ibom State actually was guilty of the crime against self.

According to eyewitnesses, nemesis caught up with one of the thugs recruited by the APC rigging machine to snatch ballot boxes and unleash terror on innocent citizens of the state made a grave error which cost him his life.

It was revealed that when it became clear that the APC fortunes had dwindled completely in the e polls, the plan B which was electoral violence was activated.

The APC thug on noticing that the PDP was leading in a polling unit in Shelter Afrique at Mbiabong area made frantic efforts likely to disrupt the process, only for the gun he had tucked inside his trousers to misfire and shatter his manhood in the process.

The victim was driving in his car towards a polling unit when the car climbed a bump on the road triggering his cocked pistol.

The APC Chieftain was left to roll on the road in pains as bystanders scampered away for fear of being picked by the police as accomplices in the incidence.

The Akwa Ibom State commissioner for police who confirmed the incident in Uyo however said that none of the three fatal incidents took place within any polling unit.

It would be recalled that the APC candidate had been accused of recruiting armed bandits and hoodlums to disrupt the peace of the state on the early hours of the election day. The thugs numbering about fifty were spread to different parts of the state where they hijacked ballot boxes and killed innocent citizens. Among those arrested for electoral crime in the state are Gen Edet Akpan(rtd), a former Director General of NYSC, some corps members and unauthorized police officers who were allegedly working for the APC candidate.
