Adamawa APC Calls For Caution

Adamawa Chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has expressed
gratitude to all for giving them the opportunity to represent them at
the national assembly hoping that the same gesture would be replicated
on its governorship candidate on April 11, this year.

At a press conference Tuesday at its party secretariat in Jimeta-Yola
state chairman of the party Alhaji Shuiabu Yamusa further appealed to
Adamawa people to vote Senator Jibrilla Bindow as Governor.

Also in a remark, the party secretary Alhaji Abdullahi Bakari said the
overwhelmingly victory of the party in the state was a rare mandate to
those who will represent the state.

He urges the APC supporters to celebrate modestly and not do anything
that will breach the peace being enjoyed in the state.

The three senators elected on the APC platform are Binta Masi Garba
for Adamawa North Senatorial zone, commander Abdulaziz Nyako Adamawa
Central and Alhaji Abubakar Allahyidi Adamawa South.

In their separate remarks, Honourable Binta M. Garba took a look at
the past and said the state chapter had earlier started on a wrong
footing but was able to put its house in order.

“People never gave us (APC) a chance then but we thank God for
changing things, and will want to say at the National Assembly, things
will change for the betterment of Adamawa State”, she said.

Those who also spoke include, Abdulaziz Nyako son of the former
Governor and Alhaji Abubakar Allahyidi.

And the Representatives were Alhaji Abdulrazak Namdas, Yusuf Buba,
Lawal Abubakar, Abdulrahman Shuaibu, Dr. Umar Duhu and Barrister Sadiq
Basin.

Meanwhile it was celebration’s galore in Yola the state capital
following news that President Goodluck had conceded defeat and
congratulated Buhari.

Everywhere erupted in ecstasy with Youths most especially driving with
reckless abandon drove from one street to the other jubilating and
shouting sai Buhari.
