President Goodluck Jonathan said on Saturday that his administration would consolidate on achievements recorded if re-elected for a second term on March 28.
He stated this in Ile Ife, Osun, when he paid a courtesy visit on the Ooni of Ife, Oba Okunade Sijuwade.

He said that in 2010 when he came on board, out of the 35, 000 kilometres of federal roads nationwide, only about 5, 000 kilometres were motorable.
Jonathan said that his administration also increased the motorable stretch to about 25, 000 kilometres in addition to the anticipated completion of the remaining 10, 000 kilometres in the next four years.
The president said he has completed the rehabilitation and reconstruction of 22 airports with over 80 per cent already commissioned for public use.

The president said that for Nigeria to move forward, “the key thing needed is the implementation of the National confab”.
