Nigerian troops on Monday cleared members of Boko Haram out of Madagali, the last town held by the terrorists in Adamawa State.
The Director of Defence Information, Maj.-Gen. Chris Olukolade, who had been on a tour of the North-East, said this in a statement.
The statement said there were no casualties on the side of the Nigerian forces, which included the Army, Air Force and other security agencies.
It added that mopping up was ongoing, and that more details would be provided by the Defence Headquarters.
