The online news publication making rounds in the cyberspace stating that the National Chairman of the People Democratic Party [PDP], Mu’azu had tendered his resignation to the President of the federal republic of Nigeria, Dr. Goodluck Jonathan on the evening of Wednesday March 11, 2015 – has been called false and baseless by the National Publicity Secretary of the PDP, Chief Olisa Metu.
The National Secretary made the clarification via sms message to 247ureports.com. He indicated that no such thing has happened.
Another top placed chieftain within the PDP who spoke only on the condition of his name not being mentioned discredited the report as the work of desperadoes within the PDP. “I am not surprised that people will be thinking of such. Too many desperadoes in our polity right now“.
