Suspected Boko Haram terrorists killed over 50 residents on Saturday when the group blew themselves up at three different markets and a bus station in Maiduguri, the Borno State capital. Witnesses said
Over 80 other people sustained severe injury and may not even make to the hospital. Abubakar Sani, a local aid worker in Maiduguri, said.
“Our members counted over 40 dead bodies and assisted to evacuate about about 80 injured people to the hospital when the first blast occurred at the Baga road fish market.” Kolo said
The second blast went up very close to the Maiduguri Monday Market while the third blast happened at a crowded Cola nut market where many people were said to have been killed and others injured
The fourth blast later occurred near the Borno Express Transport Corporation Motor Park where yet to be ascertained casualty was also recorded
