A chieftain of All Progressive Congress,APC, in Obio/Akpor Local government council, Rivers State, Chief Agbara Oshimini has defected to People Democratic Party, PDP, on Monday.
Chief Oshimini who is APC leader of Akpor kingdom in Obio/ Akppor defected to PDP during the ward to ward tour by the Ruling Party Governorship candidate, Barrister Nyesom Wike in the Kingdom.
The APC leader told supporters and members of the party that he was returning to PDP because of the promise made by wike that he will develop Akpor Kingdom when elected into office.
