Suspected Boko Haram terrorists in their numbers have again attacked Maiduguri, the Borno state capital making residents to run to safe zones as Bombs and gun shots continue to rent the air.
The terrorists are attacking the capital city from different directions making the situation more difficult to contain by security forces says a fleeing resident.
Mallam Samaila Modu, a fleeing resident of Maiduguri said the bombs and gun shot Attacks began at about 6am today along different entry points in the Maiduguri, as noise of Allah Akbar chanted by the insurgents were heard from afar.
” they terrorist were Chanting Allahu Akbar as they began to shoot and throw bobms at different directions and trying to penetrate Maiduguri.
” but the Military and the civilian JTF (local vigilante) are doing their best to repel the terrorists ” Modu said.
As at the time of this report ,the military authority could not respond to calls made to it.
It could be recalled that the insurgents has last Sunday attacked Maiduguri where over 120 terrorists 9 soldiers were killed.
