Boko Haram Suicide Attack leaves 16 Dead in Potiskum

Suspected Boko haram female suicide bomber on Tuesday killed 16 people when blew herself up at a bus station in Potiskum , Yobe State. Eyewitness said
Many other people close to the bus station sustained various degree of injuries and may not survive from the bomb attack says another eye witness .
The suicide bomber who is suspected of belonging to the Boko haram sect budded an 18 seater bus and drop her bag containing explosives before the bomb exploded says Sadiq Isa , an eye witness who narrowly escape death
” as soon as the bus was fully loaded, the suicide bomber who had left her bag ‎inside the bus and went out,  hurriedly returned into the bus and detonated the explosives on her.
” the bomb immediately killed 16  passengers including the driver who was already seated and ready to leave the bus station . Other people  close to the bus also died  and many others sustained injuries.
” those that were also killed include beggars who always besieged travelers to seek assistance and relatives who had accompanied the travelers to the bus station “. Isa said
Commissioner of Police in Yobe State, Danladi Markus confirmed the incident but  gave a different casualty figure.
” a female suicide bomber killed herself and 11 others whlile 35 others sustained injury and have been taken to the Potiskum General Hospital.
” we have also cordon off the area and we have intensify stop and search  ‎operation. ” Markus said.
