2015: Oko Chukwu Predicts Victory For PDP

Speaker of the Abia State House of Assembly, Rt.Hon. Ude Oko Chukwu has has predicted the victory of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the 2015 general elections in the state and federal levels.

 

Oko Chukwu who stated this stated this at the Skill acquisition and Women Development Centre, Umuahia after his presentation as the PDP governorship running mate, described the PDP as the only party that is firmly rooted in all wards of the federation.

While pledging not to disappoint the party and people of the state, the governorship running mate declared that he will join hands with other party faithful to ensure an overwhelming victory for the party at the state and federal level in 2015 general elections.

He thanked the leader of the party in the state; Gov. Theodore Orji and other PDP stakeholders for finding him worthy to be fielded as a deputy governorship candidate and described his nomination as a call to greater service to God and humanity.

 

The occasion was witnessed by Gov. Orji, Abia PDP governorship candidate, Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu; PDP zonal and state officials as well as party faithful across the 17 council areas.

Speaking on the Oko Chukwu’s nomination as the deputy governorship candidate, PDP Youth Leader for Ohafia council area, Hon. David Iro described the Speaker as the right person for the position, adding that Oko Chukwu’s level headedness, integrity and wealth of experience is an asset to the PDP governorship ticket.
