“It is a pity that we have some evil-minded people amongst us whose motive is to dissuade our citizenry from education, and it is a greater pity that innocent children are target in such evil and dastardly menace. I therefore wish to re-emphasis federal government unshakable commitment in protecting the lives of our children and provide them with affordable quality education under President Jonathan’s Transformation Agenda on Education.

The minister urged Nigerians to rise to the challenge of the present security situation in the country and support the Federal Government in its effort to stamp out terrorism in the country.

“We must never surrender our collective values and sanctity of human life to the enemies of the nation. I strongly believe that issues of Boko Haram and insurgency will definitely become history in our dear country. President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan has already redoubled his efforts towards fighting this devilish menace,” she added.
