His Excellency, Deputy Governor of Imo State, Prince Eze Madumere (MFR) in a warm exchange with Chief Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu (Aha Eji Aga Mba) at Eziama, Ikeduru Local Government of Imo State during the New Yam Festival of Ikeduru people.

An Elder Statesman and PDP Chieftain, Chief Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu (Aha EJI Aga Mba) has  joined other well meaning Imolites to throw his weight behind  Imo Deputy Governor, Prince Eze Madumere (MFR) over his leadership qualities and cultural values.

Chief Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu who also described Madumere as a proud son of MBAIKE made this statement  last Saturday during  Iri Ji Ikeduru ceremony at Eziama, Ikeduru Local Government of Imo State.

The PDP BoT member showered encomium on Prince Madumere for his strength of character with high level of positive values. He went further to describe him as the best deputy governor ever known in Imo State and beyond.

Continuing, Chief Iwuanyanwu who said he made the statement devoid of political sentiment assured the people of Mbaitoli-Ikeduru Federal Constituency of his unwavering support for Prince Eze Madumere in whatever project he might want to embark on as far as leadership is concerned.

The statement  credited to Chief Iwuanyanwu would have added credence to the mettle of Imo number two citizen who has variously been conferred with various awards of excellence over his administrative prowess and socio-political grade “A” class standing.

It will be recalled that Prince Madumere has been recognized from the recent survey as one of the ten Most Outstanding Deputy Governors in Nigeria by the Nations Newspaper; Newname declared him as the Best Deputy Governor in the South East while a Pan African Magazine that has been in existence for over nineteen years last Friday, October 17, 2014 in the far away Netherlands as the “African Personality” of the year.

Reacting to Chief Iwuanyanwu’s comment on Madumere, Chief Marcon Nlemigbo, the former Chairman of Peoples Democratic Party could not differ from the elder statesman. In his words; “My brother Madumere has history and has proudly added so much value to the younger generation. He has remained consistent  in his chosen lifestyle of simplicity, humility and a believer in team work with sincerity of purpose.”

Speaking further, Chief Nlemigbo also commended Governor Okorocha for his choice of Madumere and for adopting him as a son.  His word; “If Hos Excellency, our Governor, Owelle Anayo Rochas Okorocha could take him as his own, how much more our people. We should thank Governor Okorocha and also our son who has not in any way brought shame upon our people. We are proud of him and will be ready to go all out to support him and his boss.”

It will be recalled also that Archbishop Benneth Okoro once described Prince Eze Madumere as the best Deputy Governor ever had in Imo State.

Aha Eji Aga Mba as Chief Iwuanyanwu is fondly called by his people has only added voice toother respectable Nigerians and validated all that have been said about the “Most Dependable Deputy Governor in the South East.

The politician would have been moved by Madumere calmness and decorum with a well couched words during his address to people of Ikeduru, the people he described as his ‘siblings’ due to the ancestral and political relationship.

In what seemed to be a hostile environment owing to the opposition who had besieged the venue of the event, Prince Madumere, who was recently recognised with the African Personality Award proved his mettle he calmly calmed the over bloated nerves and respectfully addressed the crowed in a manner people were rose to cheer him.

He used the opportunity to assure the people Ikeduru to continue in their support for Owelle Rochas Okorocha led Rescue Mission Government while promising Government’s resolve to rehabilitate some Economically viable roads in the Local Government Area.

It is being mooted by various sections of the public that Governor Okorocha and his humble deputy have shown Nigerians what it means to work together as a team as they remain among the few most celebrated twosome at the helms of affairs at the State level governance.
