The Ndiegoro Police Division, Aba, Abia State have arrested a man for inflicting machete cuts on a couple.

The man, Emma Ndukwe who is the landlord of No.2 Ogechi Street off Ohanku road, Aba was said to have accused the couple, Mr. Maduabughichi and his wife who are tenants in his house, of being responsible for the death of his daughter who died after a protracted illness.

After all attempts by the couple to convince the landlord that they knew nothing about the death of his daughter proved abortive, the landlord who is a native of Item community in Bende LGA, stormed the couple’s apartment in the building at about 5am and inflicted several machete cuts on them.
