The question that begs for an answer is why did Governor Sullivan Chime chain her wife in the governor’s lodge some months ago?
Recall that the Governor Sullivan Chime had impregnated Clara Chime’s younger sister (Ebere Igwe). The psychological damage and blow to Clara Chime was so powerful that she developed mental complications whenever her younger sister with the baby visited the governor. Such visits would turn Clara Chime into an insane woman temporary. This was the genesis of her being chained by the governor.
Why the Deputy Governor Sunday Onyebuchi Was Impeached?
The impeached deputy Governor of Enugu State was rumored to be the one that revealed (and reveals sensitive information) to the camp of Senator Ekweremadu and other Abuja politicians that Clara Chime was in chains at the government house.  What pained the governor was that the revelation to Senator Ekweremadu was purely based on the politics of 2015 elections and the desire to rubbish Governor Chime politically. Senator Ekweremadu is Governor Chime’s political nemesis in Enugu State. The Governor and the Senator hail from the Enugu West Senatorial district. Ever since Sullivan Chime declared his interest to succeed Senator Ekweremadu in the senate, there has been a political war between the two gladiators.  Senator Ekweremadu wants to become the next governor of Enugu State should Governor Chime replace him at the senate. However, Sullivan Chime singlehandedly zoned the governorship of the state to the Enugu North Senatorial district.  This tactical move by the governor means that Senator Ekweremadu would be politically irrelevant come 2015 .The Senator is not taking any of that and  has vowed to fight for his political survival.
The Power behind Senator Ike Ekweremadu is no other but the first lady of Nigeria who has vowed to install Senator Ekweremadu as the next governor of Enugu state. The president and the first lady are open to rewarding Senator Ike Ekweremadu for introducing the doctrine of necessity that helped Goodluck Jonathan ascend to the presidency. On the other hand, the first family intend to punish Governor Chime for refusing to back  the then vice president ,Goodluck Jonathan, prior to the introduction of the doctrine of necessity by Senator Ekweremadu. Some politicians, Assemblymen, commissioners on the side of the governor are paying secret homage to Senator Ekweremadu as they view him as the future and the wonder boy of Enugu State politics.
One wonders how a man who chained and kidnapped his own wife was not impeached by the Enugu House of Assembly? Â Whereas a man that hypothetically kidnapped poultry chickens in the person of the deputy governor was impeached? The answer to the puzzle lies ahead in 2015.
One thing is obvious, the 2015 elections in Enugu State will be dominated by more revelation from Governor Chime, Clara Chime and Senator Ike Ekweremadu.
