According to the information available to 247ureports.com, over 63 lives were lost during the clash, of which all of the lives lost belonged to the Alagos tribe.
During the visit by the Governor, it was made evident that the clash was more deadly than originally thought. The communities laid their complaints at the feet of the Governor. At Daddere Development Area, Muhammed Garba stated that the attack came at 6:25pm. He stated that palace of Sangarin Daddere was attacked and burnt. He added that a police station was attacked and destroyed in Dabbere.

Responding, the Governor pledged to bring justice to the situation and to help the affected families bare their loses. He also revealed to the grieving communities that the faceless financiers of the culprits have been unmasked – that five have already been prosecuted.
