Imo State Government House Owerri
Press Release
With sobriety and high sense of regret, the Government of Imo State wishes to inform the good people of the state and Nigerians in general, that one of the key players in the Rescue Mission Administration in the state, and indeed the Transition Committee Chairman of Ehime Mbano Local Government Area, Chief Mrs. Chioma Ogoke is dead. She died of heart attack.
Mrs. Ogoke was also the Honourable Commissioner of Commerce and Industry at the inception of the Rescue mission administration in the state.
The Executive Governor of the state, Owelle Rochas Okorocha describes her death as unbelievable and to large extent shocking, because the death of the woman had come when her services to both God and the people of the state would have been highly needed.
The Imo state government, as a matter of fact, sincerely regrets her death, and prays that the Almighty God who knew why he allowed Mrs. Ogoke to die at this stage, should grant her eternal rest.
The government also prays that God would give the entire family all they need to bear with the great loss.
