All Progressives Congress (APC) Anambra State Chapter congratulates the leader of the party in the State Senator Chris Ngige and his running mate in the rigged and disputed 2013 Anambra State Governorship elections, on their emergence this wee as members of the APC Board of Trustees.
This is one appointment which has gone for quality as far as representation of Anambra State is concerned and we feel truly proud that Anambra State and by extension South East of Nigeria is realising its dream of proper recognition in the APC,unlike the Peoples Democratic Party ( PDP) which zoned its National Chairmanship position to the South East ,edged the representatives of the zone and replaced him with someone from the North-East, who has now been replaced by another appointed North-Easterner, leaving the South-east completely cheated.
We have no doubt that the contribution of this esteemed duo  founded on their combined wealth of experience and tenacious ,but friendly profile as long-time  representatives of the Igbo interest ,will turn around the feelings over 50 million Ndigbo, which is home to  the highest  and most spread voting block in Nigeria.
We seize this opportunity to congratulate Dr Ogbonnaya Onu,Gov Rochas Okorocha, all other members of the BOT and wish them well in their pivotal role in driving our great party to  far and near successes, beginning from the presidential elections of 2015.
Once again we congratulate Senator Ngige and Hon Okeke for their elevation.
