Contrary to reports of detractors, aftermath of the successful rally of the PDP at Ngor-Okpala and the locals according the deputy speaker of the federal house of representatives, Rt.Hon. Emeka Ihedioha a re-sounding welcome reception at the old county court at Ngor-Okpala, the venue of the event, the political opponents of Ihedioha who are seeing him as the greatest threat has never rested and has continued to having sleepless nights after the said event because of the statement that was made there with the army of supporters to Ihedioha that he remains a man to beat in 2015 general election.
On the contrary to the reports circulating round suggesting how Ihedioha was jeered at the event and the purported being stoped from making a speech at the event, I wish to give the right and correct account of what transpired.
As a first hand withness and as one who was present when everything took place at the event, I wish to correct the eeornous impressions been peddled by the traducers and political never-do-wells circulating around the net.
what happened was that the supporters of the rivalry aspirants was provoked by the fact that the mammoth supporters of Ihedioha were large and intimidating in numbers and in order for them not to be looked overshadowed, they started to chant the songs against the deputy speaker who they deemed a threat to their principals, aside that, the youths hailed and the people of Ngor-Okpala was happy with Ihedioha and they gave him a resounding welcome reception as the venue of the event was turned to an Ihedioha affair thereby suppressing every the other gubernatorial aspirants present at that event.
It is not true that Ihedioha was stopped from speaking at the event as he addressed the large party faithful and it not also true that the large supporters of Ihedioha ever had any show down with those few fellows wanting to cause problem.
The deputy speaker posses and will continue to poss a serious threat to the incumbent governor and all the other contenders and a minute and pocket of resentment is however expected by their hired touts to cause disaffection to the members of the public.
Ihedioha is not however dettered by the antics of few disgruntled elements, knowing fully well that his transit to Douglas house by next year is most assured and doing that, he would encounter obstacles on his way which cheap blackmails as reporting false stories is one of them.
The members of the public are hereby enjoined to disregard the said reports as they were untrue, false, malicious and calculated propaganda stunt aimed at distorting the true accounts of the event of what took place at Ngor-Okpala.
