Sinachi-4-President Campaign Team
Ladies and Gentlemen; Good evening!
The SINACHI-4-PRESIDENT Campaign Team received with shock, an allegation purportedly written by Levi N. Onyia, where he claimed, among other things, that His Excellency, Deputy Senate President of Nigeria, Barrister Ike Ekweremadu, sponsored the recent campaign for Enugu USA Presidency of Dr. Ifesinachi Ugwuonye. We know for a fact that Levi N. Onyia does not possess either the ability or capability to craft such language as used in the write-up. We therefore, wonder who used Levi Onyia’s email address to post such falsehood
We want to state in CLEAR TERMS; that the Deputy Senate President, Barrister Ike Ekweremadu was not in any shape or form involved in the SINACHI-4-PRESIDENT Campaign. The Campaign Team had no contact of any nature with the Deputy Senate President or anyone acting on his behalf with regard to the campaign or on any other basis. In fact, there is no involvement whatsoever, of anyone from the Nigerian Government; be it Federal or State, with the SINACHI-4-PRESIDENT Campaign Team.
The SINACHI-4-PRESIDENT Campaign Team is made up of high level professionals in different fields of operation, and includes all races and ethnic groups. Over 80% of the members are non-Nigerians, but are people who believe in the same cause, of ensuring that Non-Profit/Charitable Organizations such as Enugu USA, are run the right way, without governmental interference or influence.
It must be noted that for a long time, some individuals have taken it upon themselves to sniffle the smooth operation of Enugu USA. These individuals used such tactics as intimidation, blackmail, bribery and outright lies to sway the votes, and install candidates they can manipulate. This is the reason that Enugu USA has fallen so short of what it was meant to be.
We understand that these individuals are deeply disturbed about the outcome of the last Enugu USA election, where the most qualified, most formidable and independent candidate emerged the winner. We equally understand that these individuals who have kept Enugu USA in such a mediocre status over the years are in agony of defeat and will throw all sorts of mud, hoping to drag innocent people into their misery.
It is also possible that these individuals are formulating and planting all the recent news articles with the hope of extorting money from the current Governor of Enugu State, His Excellency, Governor Sullivan Iheanacho Chime. We urge the Governor to ignore these cabals and see them for who they are – the real evil doers within his administration.The Governor has always supported the projects of Enugu USA, and the new President of Enugu USA, Dr. Ifesinachi Ugwuonye is ready with her team, to work with the government of His Excellency, S.I. Chime and continue those Enugu USA projects for the benefit of Enugu people.
The President, Dr. Ifesinachi Ugwuonye and the members of SINACHI-4-PRESIDENT Campaign Team understand that Enugu USA, Inc. is a not-for-profit Organization. We understand that it is a non-governmental Organization, not political or partisan. The Team was never offered an outside sponsorship by anyone outside the members of the team. The Campaign Team is quite capable of sponsoring itself through any campaign, and needed none from any external body.
The SINACHI-4-PRESIDENT Campaign Team ran a formidable campaign based on honesty, integrity, experience, ideas, and in-depth knowledge of the operating formulas of Non-Profit, Non-Governmental Organizations. The outcome of these efforts is what was experienced on Sunday, June 29, 2014 in Houston, Texas, where the people of Enugu State, resident in the Americas voted overwhelmingly for Dr. Ifesinachi (Sinachi) Ugwuonye, entrusting her with the affairs of Enugu USA Association, Inc, as their president.
We congratulate once more, the PRESIDENT of Enugu USA, Inc, Dr. Ifesinachi Ugwuonye for her outstanding performance throughout the campaign period and at the election hall. Her final speech at the election hall has been rated among the best speeches ever recorded. For that reason alone, we are very proud to be associated with her, and we will be with her and her team through her tenure and beyond. We urge all to join us and support a good leadership for the good of all.
