A plan by security operatives to attack Leader of Islamic movement in Nigeria Sheikh Ibraheem Zakzaky at his residence in Gyallesu area in Zaria Kaduna state has been foiled by some vigilante muslim brothers who were at the scene Yesterday.
247ureports.com gathered that the combine team of soldiers and members of the state security services approached the SheikhIbrahim Yaqub Zakzaky’s house by midnight in four vehicles.
Before reaching the house, a group of Muslim brothers denied them entry.
The security men were reported to have fired some shots in to the air, before retreating to their base.
A security report has earlier indicated that the President Goodluck Jonathan’s Administration and the American Central Intelligent Agency (CIA) has planned to arrest the popular Sheikh Ibrahim Zakzaky before the commencement of the holy month of Ramadan comming up in a forthnight.
There is no apparent reason for the latest security breach by the security agents.
